Why I made the
Bra-Free Micro Crop
I designed the Micro Crop in response to a specific customer request. Sometimes women with more petite frames find that our other tops are too long for them, and they asked for something designed for a shorter torso. One customer in particular (Rachel - you know who you are!) gave me great feedback and inspired this design. Now, it's become one of our most popular styles since it works as a bra under clothing as well as on its own as a workout top, a statement crop, or a layering piece. We've now expanded it for our full size range.

I have a large bust - will this really work for me?

Can I really wear this without a bra - even in public?

What about modesty?

What size should I order - and what if I'm between sizes?
Embrago is cut larger in the bust than most brands, so you'll often go down a size from what you normally wear. Can I run or do high-impact workouts in it?
The Micro Crop is optimized for low- to medium-impact movement - yoga, pilates, barre, walking, hiking, climbing, strength training, gardening, pickleball - and holds you securely through inversions and a full range of motion. It isn't designed for high-impact bouncing like running or HIIT. We'd rather tell you that up front than sell you the wrong thing.
How is this different from a "built-in bra" top or a sports bra?
Most built-in-bra tops use a tight elastic shelf and foam cups quit supporting above a C/D cup - they flatten or squash a fuller bust instead of lifting it. Sports bras rely on compression and a constrictive band. Embrago is bandless: a patented system lifts and shapes a genuinely fuller bust (DD–L) with no underband on your ribs and no straining against too-small cups. It's the support of a bra, worn as clothing.
Will the support wash out over time?
No. The support comes from the patented panel construction, not from elastic that fatigues. Machine wash gentle/cold and lay flat or hang to dry, and it holds its shape and lift wash after wash - one customer noted hers was still in perfect shape, with no stretching out, at the end of a full day.
Will it work through the postpartum period, perimenopause, or weight changes?
