Why I made the
Ultimate Travel Dress
I wanted the Ultimate Travel Dress to solve one of the most frustrating parts of packing: bringing several outfits, several bras and extra foundation pieces “just in case” so I could be appropriately dressed throughout one trip.
This is the dress I reach for when I want to move through an entire day without planning an outfit change. It feels easy enough for the plane, walking, shopping or relaxing by the pool, but the long vertical lines and clean black silhouette also make it elegant enough for dinner, drinks or a special event.
I especially love the princess-seam construction. The vertical seams create shape without placing a horizontal line across the waist, while the gently flared skirt gives you room to sit, walk and move. The support is already built in, so there is no separate underwire bra or shapewear underneath competing with the comfort of the dress.
Add a wrap, cardigan or jewelry and the entire mood changes. For me, that is what a true travel piece should do: simplify what you pack without limiting where you can wear it.

Princess seams are long vertical seams that shape a garment from the bodice through the skirt. They create definition without requiring a separate horizontal seam at the waist. On this dress, the uninterrupted lines help create a smooth, elongated silhouette.
Where does the hem fall?

The hem falls around the mid- to lower calf, depending on your height. It is approximately 2.5 inches shorter than The Ultimate Dress - A-line.
Is the skirt fitted?

The dress is fitted and supportive through the bust and upper body, then gently flares through the skirt. It is more streamlined than the full A-line dress but less close-fitting than the Bra-Free Body Con.
Do I need to wear shapewear underneath it?

No. The dress is designed to wear without a bra, and the vertical princess seams and built-in support construction create a smooth, defined silhouette without requiring separate shapewear. You may still wear your preferred undergarments from the waist down, but they are not structurally required on top.
Is it comfortable enough for a long travel day?

100%. The dress is pull-on and contains no underwire, hooks or tight underbust band. Its gently flared skirt also provides room for sitting, walking and moving.
How should I choose my size?
Measure around the fullest point of your bust and compare that number with the Embrago Size Chart. Because Embrago is cut fuller through the bust, your Embrago size may be smaller than the size you normally purchase from conventional clothing brands.
When between sizes, choose the smaller size for firmer bust support or the larger size for a more relaxed shape.
Can I wear it from daytime into the evening?

Yes. Style it with comfortable shoes and a casual layer during the day, then add jewelry, heels, a wrap or the Liquid Bolero for dinner or an event.
What about nipple coverage and modesty?

The dress is unpadded, so it creates a clean line without foam or unnecessary bulk. The substantial organic-cotton jersey may provide sufficient coverage for many wearers. Optional No-Show Cup Inserts can be added when you want greater invisibility.
Will the built-in support wash out over time?

The support is created by the engineered seam and panel construction rather than depending only on an elastic chest band. Follow the care instructions-machine wash gentle/cold, then hang to dry or lay flat to dry to protect its shape and structure.
Will it accommodate weight or hormone-related changes?

Body Responsive Fit™ is designed to adapt more naturally as your bust and body fluctuate, rather than locking you into a rigid bra cup and band combination.
Is the fabric suitable for sensitive skin?

Every internal detail is engineered for comfort on your skin: the main body fabric is predominantly soft organic cotton made with yarn certified to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100. There are no underwires or elastic underbust bands. And all seams are sewn with non-irritating thread (the same kind used in newborn infant clothing!). All internal seams are smoothly covered and finished for all-over softness touching your body.
