Why I made the
Lightweight Liquid Bolero
I designed the Lightweight Liquid Bolero to add a little drama, movement, and celebration without making your bust the center of attention.
Fuller-busted women are often told to avoid shine or volume around the upper body. I wanted to create a piece that proves those details can be flattering when the proportions are right. The raised hem keeps the waist visible, while the gathered back and bishop sleeves move around the body instead of adding bulk in front.
I love how quickly it changes a black dress. Add it for dinner, a performance, a wedding, or a party, then fold it down into nothing in your bag when you no longer need the extra layer.
It is playful, glamorous, and easy - exactly what an occasion piece should be.
