Why I made the
The Liquid Bolero
I designed the Liquid Bolero as a gorgeous statement piece that doesn’t add bulk to your bust.
Fuller-busted women are often told to avoid volume, shimmer, or dramatic details around the upper body. I wanted to challenge that rule so I used them all- just not in the chest area (where we don’t need more drama)! The gathered back and flowing bishop sleeves create movement around the body and add back interest that draws the eye to the wrist, while the raised front hem keeps your waist visible so you can still see your shape, preventing the usual boxy, tent-like feeling of a bolero style on a big bust.
This piece is easy to wear and lightweight, instantly transforming your look to something out-of-the-ordinary. Add it over a simple black dress and suddenly the look feels ready for a wedding, concert, dinner, or celebration. Pair it with dressy jeans and heels and you’re set for a fun night of drinks and dancing. You’ll get all the visual drama with upper-arm coverage and lightweight fabric that lets you feel free and comfortable enough to put your hands in the air!
